Voltage regulators - Use & Electrical Safety
Voltage regulators are adjustable switches which can be used to provide more precise control over the heat output of our electric heated towel rails . By turning the dial on the regulator, you can fine-tune the temperature of the rail. An alternative method of providing this manual control is to chose a rail with one of our thermo elements , which provides a similar function but is an integral part of the element. Our electric heated towel rails should only be installed by a qualified electrical installer.
Voltage regulators - like other types of electrical switches - are not suitable for installation within certain zones (defined by proximity to a water source). We recommend consulting a qualified electrical installer before ordering to verify if a voltage regulator is suitable for the location you intend to use it in. |
