TMV2

The Government recommends the use of thermostatic mixing valves (TMV's) for baths, taps and showers for all housing. TMV2 Certified valves maintain the pre-set temperatures even if the water pressure varies when other appliances are used, preventing domestic scalding.

TMV3 valves are engineered to a high standard so that they meet Government Health and Safety requirements for use in public places such as Schools, Hospitals, Offices etc., and would significantly reduce the risk of scalds occurring in the home or anywhere that hot water is delivered through mixing valves.

Eco-click

Water can often be wasted at the basin, by leaving the tap running whilst cleaning your teeth for example, so to help combat this, we have introduced the Eco-Click mono basin mixers. These water efficient fittings feature a specially designed Eco-Click cartridge, allowing you to select reduced or full flow from the tap. Click to the first setting for 50% flow rate and simply click again to achieve full flow.

Eco-Click mono basin mixers cost exactly the same as standard mixers, so you can go green with paying for it.

Enviro-click

The Phoenix Enviro-Click cartridge was designed to run at either full or reduced flow rates. Simply by selecting the first click uses 50% flow and then click again for full flow. By selecting the 50% flow rate while brushing your teeth or washing your face you can actively reduce your carbon footprint.

SBH P Ratings

SBH P-Rating Pledge

The P RATING. Uncovered radiators are rated according to room volumes in cubic metres: (length x width x height).

The P RATING assumes room are equipped to modern standards of insulation and that your boiler delivers water to the radiator at min. of 75° C. (entry temperature of ΔT50)

The SBH PLEDGE: For one year from date of purchase, we (the manufacturer) pledge to accept the return and make full refund of the purchase price, of any radiator selected according to the SBH P Rating, if you are not completely happy with its performance.

HOW TO USE THE SBH P RATING:

  1. Measure your room's length, width and height in metres.
  2. Multiply length x width x height = P Rating.
  3. Choose an SBH Radiator with a P Rating the same of greater than your calculated P Rating.

Dual Fuel

Dual fuel installations utilise two heat sources. The set-up allows for standard pipe-work to be fitted from the central heating while simultaneously allowing an electric element to be fitted to the towel rail/radiator. During cooler months when the central heating is on the install often won't require the use of the element, conversely during warmer months when the central heating is off the element can be used to warm that single towel rail/radiator.

Electric Only

Electric only installations are designed to run solely on an electric element inserted into your towel rail/radiator. You will not require radiator valves with this type of install. All electric only installations should be wired in by a qualified professional.
